Liverpool have been thrown into the deep end in the transfer window this week as they search for their first signing of the summer.
Arne Slot‘s first two games as the new Liverpool manager could not have gone much better with back to back 2-0 victories on the board.
The Reds have been knocked back in their efforts to land a midfielder with Martin Zubimendi rejecting the proposal to join Liverpool.
However, Liverpool are now closing in on their first summer signing with Giorgi Mamardashvili before he immediately heads back out on loan for the season.
Given the Georgia international is set to head back out on loan, that will still mean there has been no improvements made for this season.
But TBR Football understands Liverpool have now been offered the opportunity to sign Kingsley Coman from Bayern Munich.

The France international’s future with the Bundesliga champions remains up in the air and Liverpool sources are not denying a possible interest in a potential move to Anfield.
However, TBR understands rumours of Liverpool making an enquiry are not the case with the 28-year-old having been offered to the Reds.
Coman’s representatives are working hard to land the midfielder a move before the end of play on Friday evening.
Every major club in England, Spain and Italy have been contacted but there has not been an awful lot of interest garnered by their efforts.
Saudi Pro League want him and Al-Hilal are keen to sign Coman with Bayern feeling a move to Saudi is the most likely destination for the winger, at this point.
Liverpool have also made contact with Federico Chiesa
A late move for a new attacking player seems to be on the mind of those at Anfield with the Reds having also made contact over another winger from a European powerhouse.
Liverpool made contact on Monday with Juventus over Federico Chiesa with the Italy international’s future in doubt.
Thiago Motta does not have Chiesa in his plans at Juventus with the Turn side looking to move him on before the end of the week.
