Fabrizio Romano has just shared a fresh Manor Solomon to Leeds update amid reports of a medical being booked

Leeds United are looking to make this weekend a hugely successful one and are close to signing Tottenham winger, Manor Solomon.

The Whites won at Sheffield Wednesday last night to finally get their season up and running and relieve some of the pressure on Daniel Farke.

Farke had been coming under a touch of pressure and after the board sold Archie Gray, Crysencio Summerville and Geo Rutter, the powers that be were also under the spotlight.

However, it now looks like Leeds’ board are making moves to replace those big name sales.

And as reported last night, it looks like Tottenham’s Manor Solomon could be signed next.

Fabrizio Romano confirms Manor Solomon medical with Leeds

Taking to X to update the situation for Leeds fans right now, Fabrizio Romano has now confirmed that Solomon is indeed undergoing a medical at Elland Road right now.

Leeds fans will start to feel better

Leeds United were always going to struggle to keep hold of their best players this summer and it’s little wonder they have lost some of them.

For Leeds fans, that is hard to take, even though the reality of being a Championship team very much means you are vulnerable as a club.

Still, the signing of Solomon and a few others will cushion the blow nicely and you’d expect a player like Solomon to really shine in the second tier.

Leeds now have some exciting options at their disposal and it signing wingers does give Farke a headache in terms of who he picks.

Daniel James played well last night, while Willy Gnonto also looked good coming in off the left and drifting inside.

Solomon, then, will need to buckle down and ensure he earns his place in the starting XI first before trying to show Tottenham what they’re missing out on.
