'Good news' - Doctor reacts as new Dele Alli update emerges at Everton

Dele Alli appears to be making positive strides towards a first-team return as he continues his injury rehabilitation at Everton, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.

The injury expert claims that it’s still not entirely clear when he will be ready to return to senior football again.

This comes after Sean Dyche confirmed that the 28-year-old had suffered a setback as he aims to make his first-team return, with no contract yet agreed at Goodison Park.

Speaking exclusively to Goodison News, Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and Sports Scientist, said about Alli: “Good news is that it’s a mild strain but for a player in his current context, it could be a longer recovery than usual.

That being said, it will also depend on the specific location of the strain which we don’t know so a timeline cannot be put on his return.

It does seem that excluding this setback, he is making positive strides towards returning to full fitness.

Dele Alli could have the impact of a new signing at Everton

Alli undoubtedly appears to be working extremely hard behind the scenes and there’s a good chance he’s impressed the Toffees hierarchy.

A club would rarely want to re-sign a player who’s been injured for so long but the 28-year-old must’ve shown the manager something which has led to the club considering a move.

If Dyche can manage to bring the best out of him, there’s a good argument made for Alli to return to his top level after such a long time away from it.

In other Everton news, Sean Dyche is expected to axe a first-team player v Ipswich Town after he lost possession on 13 occasions against Newcastle.
