Rangers want to sign Chelsea attacking midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka in January and that all but seals Alex Lowry’s future at the club.
TBR Football reported on 3 December that Gers are keen on securing the services of the Blues’ attacking midfielder once the transfer window opens.
It also seems likely that the 21-year-old will leave Stamford Bridge with manager Enzo Maresca himself confirming that he will be among the first to leave due to his lack of game time.
Rangers must look to sell Alex Lowry in January transfer window and begin work on his sale
This may be bad news for Lowry as he would be hoping to get more minutes but if Chukwuemeka is signed, his game time will reduce considerably.

The 21-year-old is anyway out of contract at the end of the season so the upcoming window may be the last chance for the club to get something for his services.
With him not getting any game time for the senior side, it would not even be in his best interests to sign a new deal.
It makes sense for the club and his agent to start sending feelers to other sides to see if they’re willing to take a punt on Lowry.
Only time will tell if Gers are successful in finding an ideal destination for the 21-year-old in January.
In other Rangers news, the club are now looking to sign a big-money player in January with the club open to offers for him.
