Injury Expert: Minor risk on the cards as Rangers in pole position to seal new transfer

Bayern Munich attacker Yusuf Kabadayi may not be an immediate starter should be join Rangers this summer, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.

The injury expert claims that regardless of his minor injury suffered in 2023/24, the 20-year-old will take time to adapt to the rigours of the Scottish game.

This comes after Rangers Review journalist Chris Jack reported on 10 June that Gers were in pole position to sign the German striker.

Discussing his situation exclusively with Ibrox News, Brar, a doctor in physical therapy and a sports scientist, said:

“He suffered a torn muscle fibre which saw him being ruled out for a few weeks this past season.

“Really difficult to say what the specifics are because there are no details given.

“To avoid overload and injury in a more competitive and physical league, he will have to be methodical and committed to his fitness and habits.

“There’s always a minor risk in such transfers and I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s not an immediate starter and slowly eased into the side.“

Yusuf Kabadayi may not be the answer to Rangers problems

Despite his immense potential, Kabadayi is not the established senior attacker Gers need to guarantee 20+ goals a season.

Philippe Clement would want a proven goal scorer with experience to lead their attack, especially after a difficult season.

Kabadayi, while talented, has only scored five goals in 26 appearances during his loan spell at Schalke and he’s still developing.

The Ibrox outfit should focus on signing a seasoned striker to improve their chances of winning the title next season.
