Leeds United fans have taken to social media to express their surprise at how much they could receive from Eintracht Frankfurt for flop Rasmus Kristensen.
According to reporter Florian Plettenberg, the German club are keen on keeping the 27-year-old beyond his season-long loan and are willing to pay £10million to secure his signature.
The right-back joined Frankfurt from the West Yorkshire club in the summer and has made a huge impression, playing every minute of their Bundesliga campaign so far.
It’s been a blistering start to the season for Frankfurt, sitting in third with 13 points, one behind current league leaders and favourites Bayern Munich.
Back at Elland Road, it’s been a frustrating start to the season having won four, drawn four, and lost one of their opening nine Championship games.
Leeds United set for Rasmus Kristensen windfall
Since joining Leeds from RB Salzburg back in 2022, Kristensen played just 32 games across all competitions as the club were ultimately relegated from the Premier League in 2023.
He spent last season on loan at Roma, where he failed to impress, and Leeds fans are elated they’ll be getting such a fee for the defender.
