Leeds fans are thrilled by confirmed transfer update

Leeds United fans are excited after manager Daniel Farke admitted he expects new signings before the end of the transfer window.

The West Yorkshire club earned their first victory of the season on Friday, beating Sheffield United 2-0 thanks to goals from Brendan Aaronson and Dan James.

However, what Farke had to say after the game piqued the interest of Leeds fans.

When asked about whether the club will be bringing in any new players before the August 30th transfer deadline day in his post-match interview, Farke responded with a simple “Yes, definitely”.

One player who could be on his way to Elland Road is Koln’s Austrian midfielder Dejan Ljubicic.

Football Insider revealed (August 23) that Koln will accept an offer worth £7million for Ljubicic after turning down an initial bid from United.

Leeds United set for late window transfer bonanza

Leeds still have the smallest squad in the Championship with 21 first-team players despite the singing of Largie Ramazani from Spanish side Almeria.

Fans have been begging the club to sign replacements for big-name departures all summer and it would appear they’ll finally get their wish.
