Leeds star Crysencio Summerville sends message to exit-linked Everton player

Leeds United attacker Crysencio Summerville and Manchester City ace Jeremy Doku have sent messages to Everton midfielder Amadou Onana.

The Toffees star has been linked with a move away from the club and has agreed on personal terms with Aston Villa. [Ben Jacobs, 13 July]

While he did not post anything in relation to his future, he saw both Doku and Summerville comment on his Instagram post on 13 July.

Doku wrote: “It’s clean bro,” while Summerville commented “Enjoyment.”

Amadou Onana will be extremely hard to replace for Everton

Onana is crucial to the Toffees’ midfield due to his versatility, physicality and ability to contribute in both defence and attack.

The Belgian’s imposing presence allows him to dominate aerial duels and win back possession for his team.

His impressive passing range and ball control enable the team to transition quickly from defence to attack, making him a vital cog in the heart of the midfield.

Replacing Onana will be a significant challenge for the club due to his unique blend of physical attributes, technical skills and tactical understanding makes him a rare commodity in the transfer market.

Everton will struggle to find a player who can match Onana’s combination of height, strength and technical ability.

Hopefully, the club have a succession plan in mind and are ready to act as soon as possible to bring in a replacement.
