Leeds United fans stunned after 'huge' deal extended

Leeds United fans are delighted after the West Yorkshire club extended their partnership with kit manufacturers Adidas.

The club said in their latest statement that they are ‘proud’ to continue the deal that started just ahead of the 2020/21 season.

This follows a record-breaking launch of United’s 2024/25 away kit, with 15,000 shirts sold on the first day alone, surpassing all previous first-day sales for Leeds’ jerseys.

Leeds’ initial agreement with Adidas was a record-breaking £50million over five years, averaging £10million per season, the largest in the Championship.

However, the duration and value of the latest extension has yet to be disclosed by the club.

Daniel Farke’s side remain in the race for automatic promotion despite a frustrating 0-0 draw with Bristol City on matchday 12.

With things going well on the pitch, fans took to X, formally known as Twitter, to celebrate a rare success of it.
