Leeds United fans tear into Tyler Adams after confirmed news

Leeds United fans are raging at Tyler Adams after a controversial interview emerged surrounding his spell at Elland Road.

Adams was complimentary about the fans and the city, but followed up by saying he “couldn’t care less” if the supporters hate him after his swift exit last summer.

The 25-year-old featured 26 times for Leeds and was involved in their relegation in the 2022-23 season, before jumping ship to join Bournemouth in a £20million deal.

He went on to discuss the sacking of Jesse Marsch, claiming the club would have survived relegation had his fellow countryman remained in the job.

As a result, fans at Elland Road have been left fuming on social media, with many pointing to the midfielder’s own failures while at the club.

In one season at Leeds, Adams missed 15 games through injury, including the end of the season after picking up an injury in March, meaning he missed most of the relegation dogfight.

Fans have now labelled him a “coward” after the “condescending” and “embarrassing” quotes, telling him to move on after leaving the club almost a full year ago.

On the Marsch claims, Adams has been branded “delusional”, while one fan insisted the interview was “the funniest thing I’ve read all week”.

In other news, Leeds have been tipped to miss out on a bumper transfer fee this summer.
