Liverpool fans expressed their frustrations on social media after Federico Chiesa missed training due to a mysterious injury.
The 26-year-old has only managed to play 18 Premier League minutes since making the £12.5million move from Italian giants Juventus in the summer.
Chiesa’s only start came in Liverpool’s impressive 5-1 League Cup win over West Ham, in which he managed to provide an assist for Diogo Jota’s 25th-minute equaliser.
The Italian forward was absent from all of Liverpool’s training videos and photos shared on their social media platforms in the lead-up to their Premier League clash with Chelsea on Sunday (October 19).
Federico Chiesa missing from Liverpool training
Chiesa’s career has been marred by recurring injury issues, most notably a ruptured ACL in 2022, and missing 11 games for both club and country last season due to various muscle problems.
Liverpool fans took to X, formally known as Twitter, to express their concern and voice their frustrations over Chiesa’s latest injury woes.
