‘Made an inquiry’: Tottenham have now directly asked about signing £60m player

Eberechi Eze price is clear

Tottenham have asked about signing Eze, but the conditions of this deal have been clear for quite a while now.

Indeed, Eze has a £60m release clause in his contract, and that’s the price Palace will want for their star man.

After selling Michael Olise to Bayern Munich, Palace won’t be in the business of negotiating cut-price deals for any of their other stars.

Eze is one of the Eagles’ very best players, and it would be a real shock if they were to let him go for a penny less than the £60m release clause that exists in his current contract.

Now, whether or not Tottenham do end up making a move for Eze remains to be seen, but the fact that they’ve asked about signing the attacker would suggest that their interest is concrete and a bid could be in the offing.

Eze would be one of the most intriguing signings Tottenham could make this summer, and there’s every reason to be excited by this potential move.
