Jadon Sancho won’t return to Manchester United next season now that it’s been confirmed Erik ten Hag will remain the club’s manager, sources have told Football Insider.
There was only a remote possibility in any case that Sancho, 24, would go back to Old Trafford following his public fall-out with the Dutchman at the start of last season.
But that is now considered “impossible” given the enmity between the pair after Man United chiefs decided to keep Ten Hag following the conclusion of their end-of-season review.
The Premier League giants are looking to receive between £40-50million for the England international after he rediscovered his form in the second half of last season on loan at Borussia Dortmund.
The winger is under contract at Old Trafford until 2026.

Sancho has endured a difficult time at Man United since signing for the club in a £73million deal from Dortmund in 2021.
The attacker has failed to kick on since making the big-money move, having registered just 12 goals and six assists in 82 appearances for the Premier League club over the past three years.
Sancho fell out with Ten Hag in September last year following a disagreement over his training levels, leading to him being exiled from the first team.
He then re-joined Dortmund in January and recorded six goal contributions in 21 appearances, helping the Bundesliga side reach the Champions League final.
Football Insider revealed on 3 June Sancho will not return to the Man United first team while Ten Hag remains in charge.
Despite the Manchester giants’ willingness to sell the Englishman, Football Insider revealed Dortmund are unable to currently afford a permanent deal to sign him this summer.
A well-placed source has told Football Insider other top clubs around Europe are keeping tabs on Sancho’s situation at Old Trafford.
