'Marcus Rashford will leave Man United' after Sky update - fans react

Man United fans believe that Marcus Rashford will be leaving the football club in the summer transfer window after Jamie Carragher’s latest statement on the 27-year-old.

Ruben Amorim opted to leave the England international out of the matchday squad completely for the Manchester derby this past Sunday (15 December) as he made a statement about the standards he expects in training and on matchdays.

The decision sparked question marks over Rashford’s future at Old Trafford, and Carragher made it clear that there isn’t one for him on Sky Sports’ Monday Night Football.

He said, “We talk about Marcus Rashford too much if I’m being totally honest, he’s a good player, he’s not a great player, he’s been a really good player for Manchester United.

“It is time for him to leave the club, but whether there will be any takers with the wages the lads on and things like that, who knows.

“A parting of the ways is inevitable at some stage, and for Manchester United and Rashford the quicker that comes the better.”

Marcus Rashford will leave Man United in the near future

Rashford has made 24 appearances across all competitions his season, scoring seven goals and providing three assists.

The versatile forward has been playing with the first team since 2016 and remains under contract until 2028, but supporters believe the club will cut ties with him prior to that.

Fans believe that he “faded” a long time ago, while others claimed they “don’t see a future for him under Amorim” as they made it clear that leaving Old Trafford is the next step in his career.

He needs to leave to develop himself. Starting new at a different club can bring him back on track. But I think he has to reduce his salary expectation by a lot. I don't see a future for him under Amorim ????‍♂️
