Newcastle told to complete Jarrod Bowen signing after source's reveal - fans react

Newcastle United fans are urging their club to splash the cash on West Ham United’s Jarrod Bowen this summer.

The north east giants are interested in signing the 27-year-old, who the Irons have valued at £100million.

Signing a right-winger is a priority area for Eddie Howe this summer, and Bowen is on their shortlist.

Football Insider previously revealed the Magpies have a £100million war chest to spend this summer, making it financially possible for the club to pull a deal off.

Newcastle offloaded Yankuba Minteh and Elliot Anderson earlier this summer, ensuring that they would meet profit and sustainability.

Making a deal happen is going to be complex though, as Football Insider reported that the Hammers have no plans to sell Bowen this summer.

The winger, currently on international duty with England, signed a seven-year deal with his current club last year.

Newcastle United fans believe Bowen’s worth the money

Signing Bowen would cost Newcastle a lot, but Magpies fans believe he could be worth the gamble.

Bowen has scored 60 goals and provided 39 assists since joining West Ham in 2019, proving himself to be an attacking threat.

It would be quite a statement to take Bowen not only from West Ham but London altogether what with his Dyer connections. Out of all the attainable RW options he’s by far the best option tho. However, there are some Newcastle fans questioning whether it’s possible due to the price and Bowen’s connections to West Ham.
