Adam Lallana adores Alexis Mac Allister
Lallana named Mac Allister as one of his favourite players in the world right now.
The England international, of course, played with the £35m man during his time at Brighton, but now, he’s starring for his former club, Liverpool.
“Who would you say is the best midfielder you have played alongside?” Lallana was asked.
“Firmino, he wasn’t a midfielder as such, a number 10, false nine, but then another one of my favourite players is Alexis Mac Allister, his profile and the way he plays the game,” Lallana said.
How highly is Alexis Mac Allister rated?
Lallana says that Mac Allister is one of his favourite players, and he’s not the only one to have praised the Argentine as of late.
Indeed, Diogo Jota recently named Mac Allister as the best player in the Premier League.
Of course, there are some fantastic players in the Premier League right now, but the fact that Mac Allister is even in that conversation is a testament to his ability and recent form.
Mac Allister was recently named among the top 100 players in world football, and it’s not hard to understand why.
The midfielder has gone from strength to strength since joining Liverpool, and the World Cup winner has even been tipped to become a future club captain.
Mac Allister is a top player with the world at his feet, and if Liverpool are to win the Premier League this season, he’ll have a huge part to play.
