Rangers now want to sign Ligue 1 midfielder who is out of contract in 2025 - report

Rangers have set their sights on Ligue 1 ace Oussama Targhalline, according to L’Equipe.

The French newspaper reported via its website on Wednesday (July 3) that the 22-year-old, who impressed during his spell with Le Havre in the French top flight last season, has sparked interest from clubs across Europe, including several in France and Italy.

And, with Rangers keen to strengthen their squad ahead of the new campaign, Targhalline’s potential as a defensive midfielder has drawn particular attention, with discussions ongoing as the Scottish side consider making a move for the Moroccan international.

However, the Gers have yet to take the step of making an official move to sign the midfielder and Le Havre want to keep him.

Rangers are on the hunt for fresh talent this summer, with a keen eye on promising up-and-coming players like Targhalline from Le Havre.
