Report: Arsenal make 'dangerous' player Mikel Arteta signed in 2022 available for sale
????
Arsenal are willing to listen to offers for player Mikel Arteta signed in 2022.
The North Londoners are now turning their attention towards a midfielder and a winger, with Mikel Merino and Nico Williams high on their list of targets.
Though, in order to fund moves for the aforementioned pair, they’ll need to move players on and with that said, it has just emerged that they’re open to offers for one of their attackers.
Arsenal make Gabriel Jesus available for sale
According to The Athletic, Arsenal are open to offers for Gabriel Jesus this summer.
Following his £45m switch from Manchester City in 2022, Jesus has been blown hot and cold but despite that, Arteta is still a big admirer of his.
The Gunners boss is happy to keep him at the club and at this stage, there have been no suitable approaches to sign him.
The 27-year-old, who has been labelled ‘dangerous’ per Chris Wheatley, lost his place in the starting 11 towards the latter stages of last season with Arteta preferring Kai Havertz in the number nine role.
Arsenal need a striker
If Arsenal are to bridge the gap on reigning Premier League champions Manchester City, they’ll need to sign a prolific striker.
Sporting centre-forward Viktor Gyokeres has been heavily linked with a move to the Emirates and it’s understood The Gunners are desperate to land his signature.
Ivan Toney has also been linked but that move is unlikely to materialise whilst Ajax’s Brian Brobbey remains on the shortlist.
In other news, Arsenal have just ended of ‘one of the best’ players in the world.
