Tottenham Hotspur have been one of the clubs most heavily linked with a potential move for Conor Gallagher this summer.
The England international is currently in the middle of a contract debacle with Chelsea which remains unresolved.
It is believed Gallagher has now rejected Chelsea’s contract offer with just 12 months remaining on his current deal.
Tottenham are said to be long-term admirers of Gallagher who is of particular interest to Ange Postecoglou this summer.
With Gallagher’s future recently taken a twist, Tottenham have now decided on whether they are going to make a late move for the 24-year-old.

Talks are now ongoing between Chelsea and Atletico Madrid over a potential summer move for the midfielder.
In fact, Atletico Madrid and Chelsea are said to be close to an agreement on a deal for Gallagher which is worth in the region of €35m (£29m).
Talks are progressing between the two clubs with the bulk of the decision now weighing on the shoulders of the player.
But this is a player who Postecoglou loves and a late move from Tottenham could be in the offing, or could it?
According to the Evening Standard, Spurs are now not expected to make any late move for Gallagher over the coming days.
The potential of joining another Premier League side – and Chelsea’s big rivals – now looks to be off the cards for the England international.
Gallagher has not been a part of Chelsea’s pre-season tour due to his delayed holiday after this summer’s Euros.
But it seems as if he could be heading to Spain upon his return to begin the next chapter of his career.
Tottenham still eyeing Jacob Ramsey from Aston Villa
Although the interest in Gallagher appears to be over, Tottenham are still eyeing a potential move for Aston Villa’s Jacob Ramsey.
Aside from who Tottenham could look to bring in this summer, Postecoglou is already stacked with options in midfield.
There have been some seriously exciting prospects to rise to the surface in pre-season with both Archie Gray and Lucas Bergvall showing their potential.
And this is all whilst Rodrigo Bentancur enjoys his summer break following the Copa America earlier this summer.
Although Postecoglou may have been dreaming about adding Gallagher, he is unlikely to lose any sleep over it.
