Jamie O’Hara has clashed with one Everton supporter live on air on talkSPORT after the Toffees’ clash with Leicester City.

Sean Dyche’s side’s wait for a win in the Premier League was stretched to four games at the King Power Stadium on Saturday (21 September) as the Toffees were forced to settle for a 1-1 draw.

After the full-time whistle, one fan called into talkSPORT to sarcastically ask if Dyche should prioritise winning the league or the FA Cup this season, a question that talkSPORT host O’Hara labelled “garbage”.

Speaking on talkSPORT on Saturday (21 September, 19:01) the supporter said: “Should our Sean go for the league title or should he concentrate on the FA Cup now that we’re out of the Carabao Cup?”

O’Hara replied: “Geez, what are you on about? What do you mean?”

The fans responded: “The theme of today was a Villa fan coming on and saying that they should win the league.

“With that in mind, do you think Sean should go out to win the league, or do you think he should think let’s have a run in the cup instead?”

O’Hara hit back saying: “He’s talking garbage.”

Will Everton sack Sean Dyche after Goodison Park developments?

It was clear that the Everton fan who called into talkSPORT had his tongue firmly in cheek, but his comments do reflect that general feeling of frustration around the Toffees support at this moment in time.

The Blues fanbase appears to have almost lost faith in their manager and while it would have heart to see the Toffees drop more points it feels as though that sort of result was inevitable as soon as Dyche’s side went ahead.

Something has to shift quickly at Goodison Park, otherwise, the fears of relegation are only going to become more severe as the season continues.

The Blues cannot afford to repeatedly throw away these sorts of leads week in and week out.

Hopefully, next weekend’s clash with Crystal Palace in front of the home crowd will be the perfect opportunity for the Toffees to get back to winning ways.

Three points on Merseyside would ease the frustration massively towards the manager and the players.
