Tam McManus believes that Rangers have a better chance at hiring Harry Potter than former Chelsea and Brighton boss Graham Potter.

The former Hibs forward reacted to Paul Robinson’s admission that Graham Potter would be open to taking up the Ibrox number one role.

Potter has been out of work for over a year since he was sacked by Chelsea and despite being linked with the England post, Thomas Tuchel was given the job ahead of him.

Winning the Scottish Premiership or performing well in European competitions could significantly boost Potter’s reputation, similar to how Steven Gerrard and Ange Postecoglou used their stints at Ibrox and Celtic Park, respectively, as launching pads for their careers.

Furthermore, Gers’ infrastructure, fan base and ambition to compete in Europe align with Potter’s tactical acumen and his interest in developing a style of play that could resonate in Scotland.
