'There's something badly wrong' - Alan Brazil rips into Rangers after Aberdeen defeat

Alan Brazil has slammed Rangers after the defeat against Aberdeen suggesting “something is badly wrong” at Ibrox.

The Gers suffered a 2-1 defeat on Wednesday 30 October at Pittodrie which now leaves Philippe Clement’s side nine points behind the Dons in the Scottish Premiership.

This has led to plenty of frustration amongst supporters which has now been voiced by Brazil live on talkSPORT on 31 October.

He said: “There’s something badly wrong with Rangers at the minute. You know, player for player are you telling me that Aberdeen have got better than Rangers? I don’t think so.

“Aberdeen are playing with spirit, they are together, there’s a gameplan, there’s harmony there whereas Rangers are all over the shop. The Rangers players should at least be finishing second.”

The Light Blues have had an up-and-down season so far but it is safe to say that negativity is rife amongst supporters right now.

There is little to be positive about for the Gers after the defeat at Pittodrie with chances of a Scottish Premiership title race dwindelling away.

Other than a Nedim Bajrami strike, there was few silver linings against the Dons which makes it no surprise that Brazil has torn into Clement’s side.

The Belgian has come under pressure already in his spell at Ibrox but it is safe to say certain sections of fans are reaching the end of their tether.

It has to be said that the 50-year-old has failed to truly improve the Gers squad or even individuals in his spell in Glasgow which has seen Aberdeen become a better-looking side this season.

There is a lot of work to be done for Rangers and this defeat is yet another set back in what has already been a long season.

In other Rangers news, a BBC Sport journalist has revealed what Aberdeen fans did to Connor Barron from the start of the clash at Pittodrie.
