'They tell me': Harry Redknapp now shares what he has heard about Ange Postecoglou from Tottenham insiders
????
Ange Postecoglou has certainly imprinted his footballing philosophy at Tottenham.
Where the likes of Tim Sherwood and Nuno Espirito Santo never really showed distinct styles of football while holding the reins in N17, the Austrian has coached a slick system into his Spurs squad, which focuses on quick passing, smart movement and ultimately attempting to reach the final third as quickly as possible.
Tottenham currently sit seventh in the Premier League after earning four wins from eight games with this style of play.

However, Harry Redknapp has now made a claim which suggests Ange Postecoglou very much leans on his coaching staff to help get his methods across.
Harry Redknapp says Ange Postecoglou is rarely out on the grass at Hotspur Way
By the sounds of it, the 59-year-old sees himself as more of a manager than a head coach in north London.
Speaking on talkSPORT at 9:23am on Tuesday morning, Redknapp said: “I like him. He is not a coach. He doesn’t do any coaching, they tell me. He isn’t out there, he doesn’t actually do any coaching. I don’t know if that’s right, that’s what I have heard.”
Matt Wells is Postecoglou’s senior assistant coach – while Mile Jedinak and Ryan Mason, who is in talks to become manager of Anderlecht, are assistant coaches.
Clearly, the Spurs boss trusts these three a lot to be comfortable enough in leaving them to coach at Hotspur Way alone, if what Redknapp revealed on talkSPORT is true.
Ryan Mason not the only Spurs coach who could become a manager
Tottenham fans know plenty about Mason, but the aforementioned Wells is a coach worth keeping an eye on this season and beyond.
Alasdair Gold of Football London claims that the 36-year-old is someone Tottenham rate highly, and also tipped Postecoglou’s senior assistant coach to become a “terrific manager” one day.
The Spurs correspondent told Last Word on Spurs: “I would also add to the ones to watch, Matthew Wells. He’s going to be a terrific manager at some point, he’s going to go on to do something. Stuart Lewis who does the U18s as well, he’s another terrific up and coming coach.”
Postecoglou clearly has a strong group of coaches around him, which can only be a good thing for Tottenham.
