'To be fair': Daniel Sturridge shares honest verdict on Mohamed Salah's future at Liverpool
????
Arne Slot is off to a flyer as the new Liverpool manager having picked up three wins on the trot in the Premier League.
Liverpool defeated Manchester United 3-0 at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon in what was a dominant display by the visitors.
Luis Diaz wrote most of the headlines after his superb brace but that was quickly overshadowed by Mohamed Salah’s nonchalant interview where he suggested it could be his last season for The Reds.
He qualified that point and said he’s not been offered a renewal, but either way, it got pundits talking and now Daniel Sturridge has offered his thoughts on the Egyptian’s future.

Daniel Sturridge says Mohamed Salah looks really happy at Liverpool
Former Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge, who played with Salah, issued his honest verdict on the Liverpool talisman’s future, speaking on Sky Sports.
Asked if Liverpool could let Salah depart, he said: “I would be surprised, I would be surprised.
“I think Mo has obviously achieved pretty much everything he could have done, but I have not seen him happier.
“The way he looked there, he looked happy to me. I have not seen a smile ear to ear like that. To be fair, I really hope he stays.”
Liverpool should open contact talks with Mohamed Salah
Salah’s current contract at Anfield is due to expire next summer, meaning he’s free to agree a pre-contract with clubs in Janaury.
Liverpool can’t let his deal tick down and must open contract talks ahead of the Janaury transfer window to ensure his future remains on Merseyside at least for another couple of years.
He only celebrated his 32nd birthday in June and has so much left to give at the elite level.
A telling few months lie ahead.
