Two more attackers will leave Rangers this summer after Roofe and Sima exits - Heart and Hand

Heart and Hand claim that Sam Lammers and Cyriel Dessers will both leave Rangers this summer, following the exits of Abdallah Sima and Kemar Roofe.

Roofe departed following the expiration of his contract at Ibrox while Sima returned to Brighton, having spent last season on loan in Glasgow.

Dessers, who led the line for the majority of the 2023/24 campaign, is also expected to leave along with Sam Lammers.

Via Twitter, Heart and Hand wrote: “Roofe has left and the other two will.”

Lammers spent the second half of loan in the Eredivisie and he had an exceptional stint there, which has seen Dutch sides show an interest in him.

Gers must secure top value for both Lammers and Dessers to ensure they can reinvest the funds in quality replacements.

By getting decent fees for these players, the Ibrox outfit can generate funds to bring in new signings who can make an immediate impact.

The club needs to strengthen their squad to compete domestically and in Europe, so it’s crucial to reinvest the money wisely.

Furthermore, they also need to recoup some if not all of the transfer fees they spent on these players.

This is important for the club’s financial stability and to avoid making a loss on their investments.
