Sean Dyche will have no option but to drop Jack Harrison for the Everton v Ipswich Town game on 19 October.
Once football resumes from the international break, the Toffees are set to travel to Portman Road to take on the newly-promoted side.
Kieran McKenna’s outfit are currently in 17th place, one point and one place below their next Premier League opponents.
The Blues’ last result was a 0-0 draw at home to Newcastle on 5 October with Jordan Pickford bailing them out.
Jack Harrison struggled for Everton v Newcastle
While there were some standout performers for the hosts, Harrison undoubtedly was among the worst and an axe could very well be on the cards.
In the 68 minutes he was on the pitch, he struggled to make a difference in the final third and was wayward with his passes.
He achieved a pass accuracy of only 76 per cent and succeeded in completing just 16 passes before he was taken off. [Sofascore]
The 27-year-old achieved zero per cent accuracy with his crosses or long balls – much to the annoyance of Dyche.
Harrison also completed only one of his three attempted dribbles and ended up losing seven out of his nine ground duels.
Losing possession on 13 occasions is unacceptable especially when you’ve completed just 16 passes and Dyche may opt to drop him against Ipswich.
It remains to be seen if he asks Dwight McNeil to play on the right or gives Iliman Ndiaye or Jesper Lindstrom a go there.
In other Everton news, a Toffees star player is now ready for a new adventure with a title-chasing club waiting in the wings to sign him.
