Tottenham Women have announced that Amy James-Turner has extended her stay with the club until 2026.
The club announced the contract extension via the official channels on Thursday [19 September] ahead of the Women’s Super League opener against Crystal Palace on Sunday [22 September].
James-Turner has been a vital cog in the Spurs backline for the past two seasons and was instrumental in helping the side reach their first Women’s FA Cup final last term.

Robert Vilahamn produced a remarkable maiden campaign at the Gaughan Group Stadium, guiding his side to a sixth-place finish in the WSL for only the second time in the club’s history.
James-Turner was influential for Tottenham last term as she made 14 appearances and scored her first WSL goal in the 2-1 loss to Aston Villa, and her influence on the side has been duly rewarded with a new deal.
The 33-year-old has a wealth of WSL experience under her belt, with stints at Manchester United and Liverpool, and will be vital for Vilahamn this season to improve on last season’s finish and push towards the top spots.
Vilahamn has been busy throughout the summer, signing fellow Swede Anna Csiki, who he knows well from his time at BK Hacken to strengthen the midfield. He has also eased the blow from the departure of Celin Bizet to Man United with the addition of forward Hayley Raso who joined from Real Madrid [Ben Jacobs].
Tottenham are striking the perfect balancing act between maintaining the core group of players that excelled last season with new additions that will push the side towards the upper echelons in the WSL this year.
