'All of them': What Johan Lange claimed about Tottenham's five signings last summer
Hasn't aged well ????
After their draw against Fulham, Tottenham Hotspur are seventh in the Premier League with a visit to Bournemouth on the horizon.
Ange Postecoglou’s side failed to harness the good will from Tottenham’s win over Manchester City by following up the result with another victory on Sunday – the club’s inconsistencies continued.
Postecoglou defended his team after the 1-1 draw with Fulham, pointing to the fact that he was missing both of his regular centre-backs.

However, many fans in N17 are tired of excuses at this point, Spurs simply aren’t showing enough tangible progress to get behind in the eyes of some.
Of course, some of the blame for the club’s indifferent start to the season could belong to their summer transfer window, one that was led by Johan Lange.
Johan Lange said that all of Tottenham’s signings were a ‘very good fit’
Lange has the difficult task of emulating Fabio Paratici’s success in the transfer market, something many believe that he’s currently failing to do.
Speaking back in the summer via Tottenham’s club site, Lange spoke openly about the window, one he was very positive about at the time.

Lange said: “Obviously we want to improve the team here and now, we have welcomed five players if you include Timo [Werner], into this group.
“All of them were long-term targets, for us they are stylistic and a very good fit, but they come also with the right personality, the hunger to be successful and win with this football club.
“And then of course during the summer, the execution sometimes goes faster sometimes than you think, sometimes it takes a bit longer time – but I think the key in that process is to remain calm and disciplined to secure the targets that you have set out.
“You mention it’s been a busy summer – more than 10 players have left the first team squad, some of them their contracts expired, some of them left on a transfer, a few players have gone out on loan to get valuable game time to come back next year and be competitive.”
Brennan Johnson also failing to impress Tottenham fans
Brennan Johnson arrived at Spurs from Nottingham Forest just before Lange took his role in N17.
But the forward has also been subject to criticism of late, even given that he’s the club’s top goalscorer in all competitions.
Johnson is facing a familiar problem at Tottenham right now, something that he was also criticised for during his days at Forest.
All is not quite well in north London, a project that has an increasing amount of doubters.
But perhaps Tottenham can somewhat remedy the situation were they able to go on a run of winning games, one that demonstrated more consistency.
