Almeria attacker Largie Ramazani wants to complete a transfer to Everton before the deadline at the end of August, according to TEAMtalk.

The outlet reported on its website on Sunday (11 August) that the Toffees are considering a move for the versatile winger who is thought to be available for a fee in the region of £6million this summer.

Sources close to the situation have suggested that the 23-year-old would be willing to make the move to Goodison Park after the Blues had been interested in his signature during the January window.

Both Tottenham and Crystal Palace have previously been linked with Ramazani, whose contract at Almeria expires in 12 months and the attacker has shown little interest in putting pen to paper on new terms.

Will Largie Ramazani exit Almeria amid Everton transfer rumours?

Sean Dyche has already boosted his attacking options with the signing of Iliman Ndiaye this summer, but it is widely accepted that the Toffees may need one or two further additions before the window slams shut.

The Blues’ options in the wide areas are incredibly limited and while they have several centre-forwards at their disposal, there is still plenty of uncertainty around Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s future on Merseyside.

Ramazani is a natural winger, but he has played as a number nine in the past. Should Calvert-Lewin depart Goodison, the 23-year-old would offer Dyche another potential option at the top end of the field alongside Beto and Youseff Chermiti.

If this transfer will only cost £6million, Everton would be stupid to not complete the deal.

Yes, signing a player from the Spanish second tier is a bit of a gamble, but he is a much cheaper alternative compared to the Blues’ other targets.

If he is as keen on a move to the Premier League as has been reported, the Blues should have no issue agreeing personal terms with the attacker as well.
