‘Bold claim’: Peter Crouch has now predicted the result of Man City vs Tottenham

Manchester City face Tottenham on Saturday in a game that both teams need to win.

Spurs come into this game 10th in the table off the back of a rather embarrassing loss to Ipswich Town last time out.

Meanwhile, City head into this game after four consecutive defeats in all competittions, and they’re not in the best of form it has to be said.

A game against Tottenham may well be the last thing City want to deal with right now. After all, Spurs have been City’s bogey team in recent years.

Speaking on his podcast, Peter Crouch has been previewing this game, and he’s had a go at predicting how this match will go.

The pundit says that this game will be a 2-2 draw, stating that while it’s a bold claim, he can see Spurs getting something against the champions.

This comes after Gary Neville tipped City to beat Tottenham.

Peter Crouch predicts Man City vs Tottenham

Crouch shared his verdict on how this game will go.

The pundit tipped this one to be a draw, changing his mind after initially predicting a City win.

“I want to change mine. I want to go for my original 2-2 prediction. It’s a bold claim 2-2. I just feel like us having the same score doesn’t fill me with enjoyment, and if it does happen, it will be a pivotal moment,” Crouch said.

Tottenham fixtures after Man City game

Tottenham will do well to come away from this game with a draw, but what is more important is how Spurs kick on after this game.

Indeed, Tottenham have a few games coming up that are very winnable on paper, and they need to make sure they’re picking up three points in those matches.

Chelsea and Liverpool represent some very tough challenges, but the games against Fulham, Bournemouth and Southampton could end up determining how Spurs’ season goes.

Ange Postecoglou isn’t under pressure right now, but if he fails to get Spurs moving in the right direction over the next five or six games, he may well be on the chopping block.
