Celtic fans are convinced Adam Idah will be signing for the club imminently after the striker failed to show up for the flight to Norwich City’s pre-season tour.

Reports claimed he would be disciplined by Norwich after he missed the flight to Austria, where the Canaries are set to spend their pre-season preparations.

It has also been said that a potential move back to Parkhead was “probably” a contributing factor to why he did not show up.

Football Insider revealed on 31 July that Celtic are preparing a new bid for the striker after a £4million offer was rejected earlier this month.

Sources say there are concerns at Carrow Road that Idah is looking to engineer a move away.

Fans have flooded social media in response to the incident, calling for Celtic to get the deal over the line as soon as possible.

During his loan spell at Parkhead last season, Idah scored X goals, including one in the Scottish Cup final against Rangers.

That success has seen Celtic determined to land his signature on a permanent deal, but they have failed to make an acceptable bid to Norwich.

Now, with Idah seemingly pushing for the move, fans are insisting an agreement will be reached soon, calling for the club to meet the Canaries’ asking price.

However, some supporters were less than pleased with Idah’s actions, suggesting they could come back to haunt them in the future.
