Man City hot-shot duo Jaden and Reigan Heskey are being tracked by a host of the Premier League’s and Europe’s big guns, sources have told Football Insider.
The Heskey brothers are earning rave reviews for their performances for City’s youth sides and they are both tipped for bright futures in the senior game.
The attacking duo, who are the sons of former Liverpool and England striker Emile Heskey, are regarded as two of the best talents to emerge from the City youth set-up in recent years.
The duo, who are separated by two years and a month, have played together for the club’s Under-21 side in the EFL Trophy and also in the UEFA Youth League this season.
Jaden, 18, has already caught the eye of Pep Guardiola having been included in the pre-season squad that toured the USA this summer and making his senior debut in a friendly against Barcelona.
The teenager has also captained City’s Under-19s in European action this term.
Attacking midfielder Jaden also scored in last season’s FA Youth Cup final and his progress has brought him onto the radar of several clubs in England and across Europe.
Skilful and speedy winger Reigan scored his maiden pro goal in an EFL Trophy tie against Grimsby Town in October and his prolific goalscoring has earmarked him as one of the best young talents in the country.
Man City starlets Reigan and Jaden Heskey could be lured away
The 16-year-old marked his first appearance for the Under-21s this season by netting a hat-trick and grabbing an assist against Norwich City in Premier League 2 at the start of November – despite featuring in a game four years above his starting age level.
England Under-17 international Reigan has scored 15 goals and provided seven assists in 18 games across all competitions for City’s youth sides so far this season.
City have enjoyed major success in producing players from their academy in recent years, but they have lost a number of top youngsters who have not been afforded opportunities in the star-studded first-team.
As a result, most of their Premier League rivals and major clubs across Europe are monitoring the futures of the Heskey brothers hoping they could be lured away with the offer of a potential quicker pathway to senior football.
