Brighton attacker Abdallah Sima sent a two-word message to Rangers midfielder Mohamed Diomande on 7 August.
Gers secured a valiant 1-1 draw against Dynamo Kyiv on 6 August with Diomande taking to Instagram to state that there’s unfinished business next week.
Sima, who spent last season on loan at Ibrox, and is linked with a move this summer as well [Chris Jack, 8 August], lauded his former teammate.
“My boy,” replied the Senegal international.
Rangers must do whatever it takes to bring Abdallah Sima to Ibrox in this transfer window
Gers must do whatever it takes to bring Sima to Ibrox in this transfer window because he represents a significant opportunity to strengthen their squad.
The 22-year-old is a versatile forward who can play across the front line, providing depth and tactical flexibility to the team.
He’s proven himself at Ibrox and Philippe Clement has managed to get the best out of him as well.
Sima’s addition to the squad would also provide healthy competition for places, potentially pushing other forwards to raise their performances.
Furthermore, his age suggests that he still has room for development, meaning his value could increase over time, potentially leading to a significant return on investment if he were to be sold in the future.
Securing Sima would also send a strong message to other clubs and players about Rangers’ ambition and ability to attract high-quality talent.
In other Rangers news, another first-team Gers player is set to leave Ibrox as talks have been held with his agent.
