West Ham fans have claimed they “feel so sorry” for Jarrod Bowen as a clip of him showcasing his visible frustration during their recent defeat against Leicester City was shown.
The Hammers suffered their seventh loss of the season at the King Power Stadium on Tuesday (3 December) against the struggling Foxes in what was Ruud Van Nistelrooy’s first game in charge.
Goals from Jamie Vardy, Bilal El Khannouss, and Patson Daka put the game out of reach for West Ham, with Niclas Fullkrug’s 93rd-minute goal proving to be nothing more than a consolation.
Bowen had tried to influence the game positively and managed to have an impact by having four shots and creating five chances, but the club captain’s efforts were in vain.
The 27-year-old was successful with half of his six attempted dribbles and was 100 percent successful with his tackles as he worked hard for the team.
West Ham fans feel sad for Jarrod Bowen after footage emerges online
The right winger is committed to the club until 2030, but the clip of him has left fans feeling sorry for him as others stated he “has to walk” to progress his own career.
Bowen can be seen shouting to himself in the clip as his anger at the situation is clear, with one fan claiming he looks like a “broken man.”
