Man United wonderkid Kobbie Mainoo has taken to social media to send a message to Chelsea star Cole Palmer after they both attended GQ’s 27th annual Men of the Year ceremony.
Both Mainoo, 19, and Palmer, 22, have had breakout years, establishing themselves as key players for their clubs as arguably two of the most exciting young talents in world football.
The Chelsea playmaker has kicked on this season, making 12 Premier League goal contributions as the West London side sit in third place after their first 11 games.
Unfortunately for Mainoo, injuries have hampered his progress somewhat, with the central midfielder sidelined since United’s 0-0 draw with Aston Villa earlier in the season with a muscle injury.

He may only be young, but a fit and firing Mainoo would be a huge benefit for Amorim as they aim to turn the club’s dismal start to the season around.
All work and no play makes Mainoo a dull boy, however, and the England international is enjoying the high life alongside Palmer, taking to Instagram to comment on the Chelsea star’s most recent post.
The two look attentively towards Olympic legend and world-record 100-metre sprint champion Usain Bolt as he gives a speech at the event.
Bolt knows a thing or two about winning medals, something Mainoo and Palmer will be hoping to do come the end of the season.
