Michael Stewart was very surprised when he saw Tom Lawrence fluff his lines as Rangers beat Dundee 3-0 on 21 September.

The Wales international had a chance to score in the first half, but he cut back inside and skied the ball.

However, even if he had scored, it would not have counted as Cyriel Dessers was already offside.

Stewart told Premier Sports (21 September, 6pm): “You could see that Cyriel Dessers had just drifted. Very surprised when Lawrence cuts back inside and he’s missing the target there. You’d be expecting the net to bulge.

“But obviously, Dessers is flagged for offside.”
