English Premier League club Chelsea are still seriously in talks with Napoli over the transfer of Victor Osimhen, but they are still still struggling to match the demands of the Super Eagles striker, Soccernet.ng reports.
Osimhen has continued to dominate the news with his next move still in the air. The Super Eagles star has been superb for Napoli in the past three seasons, and his performances have attracted interest from abroad.
Top clubs like Chelsea, Arsenal, and PSG have indicated interest in signing the 25-year-old, but they have been unable to cut a deal with him and Napoli.
Three weeks ago, news broke that Osimhen’s transfer to PSG was imminent, but the talks have died down, as the French champions are struggling to cut a deal with Napoli despite agreeing on a deal with the player.
Meanwhile, according to a new report from transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea are seriously in talks with Osimhen and Napoli.
Chelsea remain interested in Victor Osimhen as the option was re-activated weeks ago and talks are still ongoing.
But #CFC informed Napoli that they could proceed on loan in the final days.

Napoli are open to accepting a loan transfer, but Osimhen’s camp is unwilling to listen to any loan offers as they would only accept an outright buy. Also, Chelsea are also unwilling to meet his wage demands. The former Lille man is demanding €10 million, and that would make him one of the top earners at Stamford Bridge.
With just 14 days left until the close of the transfer market in mainstream Europe, Chelsea may have to step up talks to ensure they get their man.
