Pundit View: Ange makes decision on never-before-seen Tottenham ace after pre-season development

John Wenham believes Ange Postecoglou sees Brandon Austin as his second-choice goalkeeper at Tottenham.

“I think pre-season has told us a lot about the goalkeeping situation,” Wenham said.

“We saw that Austin was handed a lot of minutes throughout the six matches that Tottenham played. To me, that implies that Postecoglou has decided Austin is the second-choice goalkeeper in his mind.

“We have seen none of Forster due to this constant ongoing injury, which might have moved Austin up in the pecking order.”
