Rangers would be happy to accept a bid between £2million and £4million for Ianis Hagi to leave Ibrox this summer.

Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, former Gers defender Alan Hutton explained that the club will take any money they can get for his sale and reinvest it.

Having spent last season out on loan at Spanish side Alaves, the 24-year-old no longer has a future at Ibrox and is expected to leave the club in the summer transfer window.

It is said the money from Hagi’s sale will go towards the club targeting new wingers as Philippe Clement looks to strengthen his squad.

Former Scotland forward Frank McAvennie also told Football Insider that Hagi has no future at Rangers as his exit now feels inevitable.

The Romanian arrived at Ibrox for £3million in 2020, with Hutton suggesting they could now recoup the money paid for him after a turbulent four-year spell.

It’s a difficult one,” he told Football Insider.

When you’re talking about the likes of Hagi and Lammers, these kinds of guys, it’s difficult to put a figure on them.

Of course, Rangers want to make the most money possible and I do expect him to leave.

I can’t remember what they signed him for, but if they can get £2million, £3million, even £4million for him, they’ll be happy with that.

It doesn’t look like he has a future at the club, so whatever money they can get in, they’ll look to reinvest in the squad.

It looks like those winger positions are one they will look to strengthen.”

In other news, Connor Goldson could also be on his way out of the club.
