Report: Chelsea have now made contact to sign rare £415,000 talent
????
Chelsea have placed huge focus on hoovering up elite talents from across the globe since Todd Boehly replaced Roman Abramovich.
Under the American, the Blues have spent millions to snap up the likes of Kendry Paez, Estevao – who Enzo Maresca called “fantastic” – Mike Penders, Aaron Anselmino and more before they potentially become household names within a few years.
After a tough start under Boehly and four different managers all holding the reins in Thomas Tuchel, Graham Potter, Frank Lampard and Mauricio Pochettino, Chelsea now seem to be building something concrete with Enzo Maresca at the helm.

Despite an impressive start to the 2024/25 Premier League campaign, the Blues are not satisfied yet when it comes to recruitment as Chelsea target Christantus Uche.
Chelsea enquire about Getafe wonderkid Christantus Uche
A story from Mundo Deportivo now states that Chelsea have asked Getafe what it would take to sign Christantus Uche.
The 6ft 3in Nigerian is a unique talent, given his ability to play as both a striker and also a defensive midfielder – a rare blend of versatility rarely seen in football.
Mundo Deportivo believe Chelsea have been in touch with Getafe to ask about Uche, as they feel the 21-year-old has the characteristics needed to thrive in the Premier League.
The Spanish news outlet do not state how much Getafe value Uche at – only that he cost the Spanish side just €500,000 (£415,000) in a move from Ceuta back in the summer.
Enzo Maresca needs a settled environment at Stamford Bridge
While Uche is undoubtedly an exciting prospect, Chelsea need to relax when it comes to transfers.
Along with the aforementioned bunch of wonderkids signed by Chelsea since Boehly arrived, the Blues have also added Omari Kellyman – who Tottenham backed away from – Cesare Casadei, Marc Guiu, Caleb Wiley and Deivid Washington.
To sum up how odd the approach to recruitment has been at times, Chelsea also signed Angelo Gabriel and Diego Moreira shortly after Boehly took over, with both already gone in permanent exits despite making just one appearance combined.
The best thing about Chelsea this season is the fact Maresca’s starting XI seems mostly settled, and with so many young players still waiting to see what the future holds for them at Stamford Bridge, it would be madness to add another.
