Ange Postecoglou will be delighted after a recent contract decision at Tottenham.

There are plenty of young players for supporters in North London to be excited about at the moment.

The likes of Mikey Moore, Will Lankshear and Jamie Donley are all attracting attention at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

In addition, the club recently completed the signing of George Feeney, a talented 16-year-old striker who was scouted by several Premier League clubs.

However, it appears as if there is now a more low-profile name emerging who supporters should also be keeping a close eye on.

As reported last month by The Secret Scout via X (11 June), England Under-15 striker Frankie Day was set to leave Tottenham after deregistering.

The highly-rated striker was apparently on the radar of most Premier League clubs. However, it appears as if there has been a contract U-turn, much to the benefit of Tottenham.

As per Lilywhite Rose via X (8 July), Day has chosen to renew with Spurs, with the forward being described as “One of the best young strikers in the country.”

Can Frankie Day make an impact at Tottenham under Ange Postecoglou?

This player is incredibly young, and some supporters might therefore not feel as excited by this update as they would by a more high-profile transfer story.

However, that shouldn’t be the case. In today’s game players are bursting onto the scene at a much younger age, and if Day has the talent, it might not be long until he is seen on the main stage.

The likes of 16-year-old Lamine Yamal and 19-year-old Kobbie Mainoo have proven at the 2024 UEFA European Championship that age is just a number.

For Spurs to keep hold of their young talent is very important and a big statement to other clubs.

Frankie Day has renewed his deal with Tottenham

If it is true that Day was being scouted by Premier League sides, then it is clear that Tottenham have a talent on their hands.

As a result, it might not be too long until Day begins to be pictured around the first-team setup in North London.

In other Tottenham news, the club must complete one sale before signing a £60million-rated forward.
