'We can confirm': Sky Sports journalist has dropped Benjamin Sesko transfer update

Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea are likely to be busy in the summer transfer window in hope of better campaigns next season.

The Red Devils managed to win the FA Cup and qualify for the Europa League last term, but they were poor in the Premier League and Champions League.

Meanwhile, the Gunners fell just short of winning the title, and the Blues could only qualify for the Europa Conference League, though they could’ve easily finished mid-table.

Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea have reportedly all set their sights on Benjamin Sesko, who has been on fire for RB Leipzig this season.

Now, Sky Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg has issued an update on the 20-year-old amid interest from the Red Devils, the Gunners and the Blues.

What has Florian Plettenberg said about Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea target Benjamin Sesko?

Plettenberg said on Thursday, as per the Sky Sports website: “There is a very good chance you will see him playing and scoring in the Premier League next season – we can’t see him playing in the Bundesliga.

“There are concrete enquiries and offers for him. We can confirm Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal have all enquired and started first talks.

“We have been told there is no final decision from the player and his camp at this stage of negotiations.

“There is a release clause the teams have to activate with a €65m transfer fee by the end of June. The player is considering the best option.

“RB Leipzig is doing everything to convince him to stay… Sesko is totally focused on the Euros. We think there will be a decision in the next two or three weeks or after the Euros.”

Sesko is one of the most highly sought after players in Europe this summer, and it’ll be exciting to see how things develop in this transfer saga.

Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea will all fancy their chances of getting him on board in the coming months.

All three clubs are in Europe next season, and Arsenal will be expected to challenge for the title once again, as well as going far in the Champions League.

Meanwhile, the Red Devils and the Blues are both huge clubs that are hoping to return to the very top of the game and, with the right additions, could go far next season.
