'Wow' - Scout issues Doucoure verdict as Everton set to seal another new transfer

Ryan Williams believes that Everton signing Iliman Ndiaye from Marseille could see Abdoulaye Doucoure playing in a deeper position.

The football scout and business analyst wrote on Twitter on 26 June that the 24-year-old Marseille attacker is a vital addition for the Toffees.

With Tim Iroegbunham and Jack Harrison joining permanently, Ndiaye is on course to become the third summer transfer at Goodison Park.

Reacted to the news that he’s currently undergoing his medical shared by Fabrizio Romano, Williams wrote: “Wow. Fantastic signing. Impact player at a position of need. Allows Doucoure to drop deeper, gives Everton a lot of options in attack.”

Iliman Ndiaye expected to hit the ground running at Everton

Fans can expect a dynamic and versatile forward in Ndiaye, who is set to join the club from Marseille.

The Senegal international’s arrival is seen as a key addition, addressing a position of need in the team’s attack.

This signing allows the Toffees to potentially utilise Doucoure in a deeper midfield role, adding flexibility to their lineup, with the 24-year-old likely to be the number 10 for Sean Dyche.

Ndiaye’s ability to play across the frontline, coupled with his dribbling skills and work rate, could significantly enhance the club’s capabilities in the final third.

His previous success in the Championship with Sheffield United, where he played a crucial role in their promotion, suggests he could adapt quickly to the Premier League.

The Goodison Park faithful can anticipate an energetic and creative player who can contribute to both goal-scoring and playmaking, providing a much-needed boost to the team’s attacking options.

In other Everton news, the Toffees have made an approach to sign a midfielder at a side that recently won the Champions League.
