Everton are open to selling Amadou Onana to Bayern Munich who eye him as a cheaper alternative to Joao Palhinha, thus letting Liverpool sign Joshua Kimmich, according to the Liverpool Echo.

The newspaper reported via its online edition on 26 June that Bayern are reportedly unwilling to pay more than £40million for the Fulham midfielder and that the Toffees are willing to facilitate a transfer between the clubs.

Onana has thus emerged as a potentially cheaper alternative and should the Belgium international move to Bavaria, the Champions League club may facilitate Kimmich’s exit to Anfield.

Everton must not sell Amadou Onana on the cheap

While Bayern appear to be keen on the Belgian, it’s important that the Toffees do not let go of him on the cheap.

At just 22 years old, Onana has shown great potential and has already become one of the club’s most impressive performers under Sean Dyche.

He is considered one of Europe’s most exciting talents and has caught the attention of top clubs like Bayern Munich and Arsenal.

Selling him for less than his worth would be a significant loss for the Toffees, as he could potentially develop into a world-class midfielder.

Additionally, his departure would leave a void in their midfield, which could impact their performance in the Premier League.

They themselves paid a decent amount of money for Onana so it’s only fair that they make a substantial profit from his sale.

In other Everton news, the Toffees have now issued contact with their Premier League rivals to sign a midfielder who recently won the Champions League.
