Finance Expert: Dan Friedkin in 'statement of intent' after quick Everton takeover development

Dan Friedkin has made a statement of intent with a new cash injection into Everton ahead of his takeover, according to Dan Plumley.

The American billionaire has already injected £200million into the club, paying off loans to MSP Sports Capital, as well as providing working capital [Indpendent].

The football finance expert admitted there are still things that need ironing out, but things are already moving quicker than they did with 777 Partners.

“It’s a step in the right direction, a statement of intent,” he exclusively told Goodison News.

“These are things that needed to happen, that didn’t happen with 777 and the way that was playing out.

“As we said before, we are now dealing with a person who has a track record of owning football clubs and has a wide reach into the networks, so it’s all steps in the right direction.

“Of course, there are things that still need to be sorted out, we’re not quite there yet but these things seem to be progressing much quicker and in a much more positive manner than they did with the 777 deal.”

Despite things going quiet in recent days, Alan Myers has insisted that there are no issues in the background with the situation ongoing.

This is already much better than the constant stream of negativity that appeared to surround 777 Partners every single day.

The future is looking bright for Everton and Friedkin.
