‘He is difficult’: Julian Nagelsmann wowed by striker Arsenal reportedly want in January

Talk of Arsenal needing a striker continues to rumble on even though they have had two record-breaking seasons in front of goal.
Yes, Mikel Arteta doesn’t have that bonafide striker like Manchester City’s Erling Haaland or Aston Villa’s Ollie Watkins.
But he does have a forward line from Bukayo Saka to the ever-improving Kai Havertz, who can chip in with enough goals for the team.
The problem facing Arsenal is the old-age debate that keeps rearing its ugly head and whether or not they have enough goals to win the Premier League title.
Ahead of the January transfer window opening, rumours suggest that the London club could be on the lookout for a number nine.
Martin Odegaard is currently injured, which has meant a different role for Havertz of late, but he is still scoring and they also have the option of the injury-prone Gabriel Jesus.
If Arsenal are to dip into the market for a striker, the fans probably want that proven hitman, even if he would cost extra dough.
But it seems as though the powers that be could be going down the road of an upcoming star who once worked with Julian Nagelsmann.
The Germany coach recently spoke highly about Ajax star Brian Brobbey and how he is ‘difficult’ to face after managing him during their days at RB Leipzig, as posted by Bayern & Germany on Twitter.
CaughtOffside have claimed that one of the strikers on Arsenal’s radar is Ajax player Brobbey, even if Lille’s Jonathan David is the priority.
Germany coach Julian Nagelsmann hails Ajax and Netherlands star Brian Brobbey
“He’s physically very good,” shared Nagelsmann. “I brought him to Leipzig, but then I left, which was unfortunate.
“He’s not a classic striker who just stands in the penalty box and taps the ball in. He is difficult to defend.”
Signing Brian Brobbey would be a mistake
Arsenal are better off not getting anyone rather than bringing in another project-like signing.
The fact of the matter is that they have built their way to this current position, have most of the things in order and now just need a few more details to push them over the title line.

Those few details needed to get the job done have to be the here and now, as Brobbey simply wouldn’t provide that because is still raw at 22 and finding his own feet.
Arsenal sold Eddie Nketiah for a reason because he can’t do it for the here and now, as he looks to prove himself in the colours of Crystal Palace.
