Leeds United fans have been left fuming as Jesurun Rak-Sakyi looks set to sign for Sheffield United on loan despite their interest.

Leeds had been one of the multiple clubs interested in the striker’s signature after Crysencio Summerville was sold to West Ham, but now look to have missed out.

Football Insider revealed on 7 August that the Crystal Palace winger has agreed to join the Blades, with a full agreement now reached between all parties.

Palace were keen to send him to the Championship this season after an impressive loan spell in League One with Charlton in 2022-23.

Leeds missing out has left fans raging at the board and insisting they must now follow up their interest in Norwich winger Jonathan Rowe to ensure they aren’t “left behind”.

Losing out on a potentially exciting loan move to a promotion rival could serve as a huge blow to Daniel Farke’s side ahead of the new season.

Wilfried Gnonto and Daniel James remain the first-choice wide men in Farke’s squad, but they remain in desperate need of reinforcements to their forward line.

Fans flocked to social media in response to the latest development, with many fearing the impact the deal could have on them and their rivals.

Others insisted the club should now go all out to sign Rowe.
