Rangers fans have been left stunned by what appears to be a fresh injury blow to Danilo after footage emerged before the clash with Dynamo Kyiv.

After the players arrived at Hampden Park before the game, Rangers’ social channels shared a video of them walking out onto the pitch, and Danilo seemed to be limping.

The video was swiftly deleted, but not before fans could get hold of it and share it around social media where it quickly spread.

The Brazilian was an unused substitute yet again despite Cyriel Dessers’ struggles on the pitch, leading to questions over his fitness.

His continued place on the bench despite what seems to be a fresh injury blow has also raised questions about Philippe Clement and the board.

Danilo has struggled with frequent injury issues since his arrival at Ibrox last summer and has started just ten games for Rangers after a year.

A broken cheekbone followed by a knee injury saw him miss 41 games last season, raising red flags about his ability to stay fit consistently.

Now, with the latest video doing the rounds on social media, fans believe he has picked up another knock and are speculating about the extent of the blow.

Some suggested he could be out for “months”, while it was also claimed he may never play for the club again in a “bizarre” twist.
