Graham Potter, who has been touted as a replacement for Philippe Clement at Rangers, has been linked with the Roma job, as shared by the Scottish Sun.
The news outlet revealed a report by La Gazzetta dello Sport on 4 November claiming that along Potter, Frank Lampard, another manager linked with Gers, is also linked with the Seria A club.
As things stand, the Ibrox hierarchy have not held talks with the Belgian over his future or that he is facing the sack.
Rangers must consider Graham Potter but avoid Frank Lampard
Gers should consider Potter due to his proven track record of elevating teams beyond their expected capabilities, as demonstrated at Brighton where he not only improved the team’s standing and style of play but also set a foundation for sustainable success.
His approach to fostering a distinct footballing identity and tactical acumen could be transformative for Rangers, aiming to compete at the highest levels both domestically and in Europe.

Conversely, Lampard, despite his pedigree of being a world-class player, has not shown the same capacity for long-term club building as a manager. His stints at Stamford Brighton were marred by inconsistency and failure to meet high expectations and he also failed at Everton.
While Lampard’s name carries weight, his managerial achievements lack the depth of Potter’s, especially concerning the development of a football philosophy that could benefit Gers over the long haul.
Whether or not Potter would be convinced to move north of the border for arguably lower wages, remains to be seen, but it’s certainly a job that can put him back on the managerial radar for top European sides.
This would be an appointment that would excite Gers fans and send shockwaves on the green side of Glasgow.
In other Rangers news, a league-winning manager is now the favourite to take over the reins from Philippe Clement.
