TNT Sports and creator Ryan Hall have shared footage from Goodison Park, the home of Everton, on Friday evening.
On Thursday, 5 December, a video emerged of a “flood” [The Mirror] inside the stadium which led to outrage on social media.
However, the stand looks in perfect shape, ahead of the Liverpool game on 7 December, and as Hall mentions in the video, it appears “bone dry”.
Everton need to ensure Goodison Park is in great shape for its final season
The real test for Goodison Park, following the recent video of flooding, will come with the next rainfall. Ensuring the stadium remains in top condition is crucial, especially as every match at home will be a historic farewell before the Toffees move to Bramley-Moore Dock next season.
The Merseyside derby this weekend, in particular, is not just another fixture but the last at home against Liverpool before the relocation.
Maintaining the stadium in impeccable condition for this iconic game is imperative.
It’s not just about the physical state of the pitch and stands but upholding the legacy of Goodison Park in its final season.
Hopefully, the measures taken to address any issues will ensure the stadium is bone dry and ready for this significant match, allowing fans to focus on the football rather than the facility.
